The Comprehensive Basic Science Exam (CBSE) will be delivered in-person, on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, at 10 am ET.

The in-person exam will takes 5-1/2 hours, which includes 15 minutes for the introductory tutorial. There is also a 15-minute break between Sections 2 and 3.

You'll receive information during the first week of January from the person proctoring the CBSE on your campus.

If you'll receive accommodations from USMLE on Step 1, email Perry Monnin and Laurie Cline as soon as possible so CBSE accommodations can be arranged.
