The Department of Family Medicine offers four three-year community-based residency programs. Residents in the IU School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency programs participate in integrated inpatient and outpatient learning and receive training in six major areas of medicine: pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, psychiatry and neurology, surgery and community medicine.
