All students at IU School of Medicine are welcome to attend and hear from Adam Ratner, MD, MPH, as he discusses his new book "Booster Shots: The Urgent Lessons of Measles and the Uncertain Future of Children's Health" from 4-5 p.m. ET on April 21 at Emerson Hall 304 on the Indianapolis campus. Approximately 20 signed copies of the book will be distributed to medical students (on a first-come, first-served basis) who attend the talk.
Local bookstore Loudmouth Books will also be selling signed copies of the book at the event.
The event — part of the Dean Halverson Public Health Leadership Lecture Series with the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health — is free. Medical students do not need to RSVP, but if you bring non-student guests, please have them email Molly Overbey to RSVP.
Light refreshments will be served before the event from 2:45-3:45 p.m. ET.
