Attend April 21 talk on measles and public health

All students at IU School of Medicine are welcome to attend and hear from Adam Ratner, MD, MPH, as he discusses his new book "Booster Shots: The Urgent Lessons of Measles and the Uncertain Future of Children's Health" from 4-5 p.m. ET on April 21 at Emerson Hall 304 on the Indianapolis campus. Approximately 20 signed copies of the book will be distributed to medical students (on a first-come, first-served basis) who attend the talk.

Local bookstore Loudmouth Books will also be selling signed copies of the book at the event.

The event — part of the Dean Halverson Public Health Leadership Lecture Series with the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health — is free. Medical students do not need to RSVP, but if you bring non-student guests, please have them email Molly Overbey to RSVP.

Light refreshments will be served before the event from 2:45-3:45 p.m. ET.
