Bio
Steve graduated with a BA in philosophy from the University of Nebraska and went on to medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he graduated in 1999. He and his wife Sheila (a pathologist) couples matched to IU. Steve is a 2002 graduate of the IU EM program where he served as chief resident in 2001-2002. After graduation, he helped organize a new community EM practice with 4 of his residency colleagues where he then practiced for three years. Steve returned to Methodist Hospital in December of 2004, and as full time faculty in July of 2005. He completed his Master of Business Administration from the IU Kelley School of Business in 2022.
