Bio
Why I chose general surgery as a career: I love to work with my hands, I love fixing things. Specifically, I was drawn by the allure of trauma surgery and the opportunity to intervene on someone’s behalf when they have been critically injured.
Why I chose the IU School of Medicine General Surgery Residency Program: I have a number of long-time mentors here and knew it would not be easy to find that kind of support elsewhere.
Research Interests: Early trauma intervention – novel management techniques to prevent the typical long-term sequelae of certain injuries
Personal Interests/Hobbies: Biking, building, remodeling, other stuff.
