Dr. DuyKhanh Pham Ceppa is a thoracic surgeon at IUSM. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and received her medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine thereafter. Following completion of General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery training at Duke University, Dr. Ceppa joined the faculty at Indiana University, with a clinical focus on General Thoracic Surgery, Thoracic Surgical Oncology, and Minimally-Invasive Surgery.
Dr. Ceppa’s research focus is on surgical outcomes following pulmonary resections, esophagectomy and special interests in the Cardiothoracic Surgery workforce. She has been the principal or co-investigator to more than 75 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Ceppa is a member of American Association for Thoracic Surgeons, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Women in Thoracic Surgery.
