Bio
Katie Hutchins, MD joined Indiana University School of Medicine faculty in 2023 as an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology. She is an adult neurologist specializing in clinical neurophysiology with a focus on epilepsy and EEG. She practices predominantly at Eskenazi Hospital.Dr. Hutchins' clinical and research interests are in the fields of global and public health. She is the team leader for the Department of Neurology’s global neurology program, working alongside other universities within the AMPATH (Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare) consortium, led by IU.
Outside of work, Dr. Hutchins enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, a physical therapist, and their dogs.
