Bio

April Graves, OD, received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from University of Indianapolis. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2010.

After graduating from Indiana University School of Optometry, she worked in a private practice in Franklin, Indiana before joining Indiana Pediatric Ophthalmology at Midwest Eye Institute as a pediatric optometrist in 2012.

Dr. Graves became a full-time faculty member of the IU School of medicine Department of Ophthalmology in 2016.

Dr. Graves enjoys caring for children of all ages. She specializes in comprehensive eye exams of children, prescribing glasses and contact lenses, treating amblyopia, managing strabismus and other ocular disorders. She works closely with her colleagues to provide specialty care for her patients.
