Bio
Dr. Boente is Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep & Occupational Medicine at Indiana University.
Dr. Boente completed his Residency and Chief Residency at Case Western Reserve University MetroHealth Medical Center followed by fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Indiana University.
Dr. Boente’s academic and clinical interests include interstitial lung disease where he has specific interest in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), Connective Tissue Disease Related Interstitial Lung Disease, and Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM).
Dr. Boente serves as the clinical co-director of the IU Interstitial Lung Disease Program and IU LAM Clinic.
