Bio

Dr. LePage graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University with degrees in Biology and Classical Studies before earning an MD from the Indiana University School of Medicine, where Dr. LePage received the Carleton D. Nordschow Award in 2017. Dr. LePage then completed a Pathology residency and a Transfusion Medicine fellowship at Indiana University. During residency, Dr. LePage was recognized for excellence in teaching, reflecting completion of the clinical education teaching pathway and a strong commitment to education at all levels.

Following fellowship, Dr. LePage continued an academic career within the Indiana University system, assuming leadership roles in both patient care and education. Dr. LePage serves as Medical Director of the Eskenazi Hospital Blood Bank, Associate Program Director for the Pathology Residency, as well as Phase One Pathology Lead for the Indianapolis campus of the Indiana University School of Medicine.

Dr. LePage’s research focuses on learning and retention using nontraditional pedagogical approaches, including the development of an escape room simulation implemented across all nine IU School of Medicine campuses and within the pathology residency program. In 2026, Dr. LePage received the Indiana University Board of Trustees Teaching Award and remains committed to advancing the tripartite mission of clinical care, education, and research.
