Bio

Dr. Morkos strives to provide his patients with the highest quality of care and cutting-edge technology. Besides his interest in various endocrinological disorders, Dr. Morkos' current focus and advancement in practice is in the field of thyroid disorders. He was the first to introduce thyroid radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in the state of Indiana to treat compressive thyroid nodules. He is also interested in spectral Doppler ultrasound and the utilization of various ultrasound exams in diagnosing thyroid disorders. He is ECNU-certified, the sole endocrine certification in neck ultrasound. Aside from medicine, he enjoys playing table tennis and volunteering at St. Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church.

Dr. Morkos received his medical degree at Alexandria University School of Medicine in Egypt. He completed his internal medicine residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County and endocrinology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Dr. Morkos is board-certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism, Internal Medicine, and Clinical Informatics.
