Bio

Dr. Marozkina has done basic, clinical and translational studies on airway biology and cancer biology. Currently, she focuses on airway biology in Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis and Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia.

She has managed experiments for the Severe Asthma Research Program and for the lab’s Program Project (P01) on therapeutic trials for severe asthma and cystic fibrosis. In particular, she has been working to identify the gender-based determinants of asthma severity in the SARP, and on clinical trials regarding S-nitrosoglutathione replacement and airway alkalinization in the P01 (Projects 1 and 2).  She has done pilot clinical study on DHEA supplementation in asthmatic women.
