Dr. Jones has over 35 years’ experience with sample preparation and analytical techniques used in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic studies. He has worked with high performance liquid chromatography and multiple detectors, including MS and MS/MS, and gas chromatography using multiple detectors, e.g. flame ionization, nitrogen phosphorous, and MS. He is the founding Director of the Clinical Pharmacology Analytical Core at IU School of Medicine, an Indiana CTSI-designated core providing pharmacokinetic and metabolism data to guide drug design and treatment in pre-clinical drug discovery (bench) as well as in clinical drug development and treatment (bedside).
