Bio
Dr. Ronald Mastouri serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is the medical director of non-invasive cardiology at Indiana University Health Academic Health Center and Cardiology Service Line Leader with Indiana University Health Physicians. He will serve as president of the Medical Staff Executive Committee at the Adult Academic Health Center for 2025.
Dr. Mastouri earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He completed his internal medicine residency at Indiana University, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Krannert Institute of Cardiology, with a final year focused on advanced cardiac imaging.
As a clinical cardiologist, Dr. Mastouri specializes in multimodality imaging, including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. His clinical interests encompass myocardial viability assessment, cardiomyopathies, complex valvular disease, and pericardial diseases. He has been involved in several NIH and industry sponsored clinical trials. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
