Patricia Garcia, PsyD, HSPP is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology who specializes in the neurocognitive and psychiatric assessment of adult populations. She joined Indiana University School of Medicine in 2023, and prior to her appointment, she worked as a staff neuropsychologist and as an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana, affiliated with IU School of Medicine. Clinically, Dr. Garcia evaluates a variety of adult patient populations who present with acquired and neurodegenerative diseases affecting cognition and personality. She attended Albizu University-Miami campus for her doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a focus in neuropsychology, and later completed internship and fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Garcia is currently core faculty at the Indiana Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, ORE Center, serves as the co-leader of the IADRC Hispanic CAB, is chair of the the Conflict of Interest Committee for the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and is past chair of the Culture and Diversity in Traumatic Brain Injury Task Force from the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine.
