Bio

I was born and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico, and completed my medical education at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in Mexico City. In 2022, I moved to the United States to complete a one-year research fellowship at the Mayo Clinic before coming to Indianapolis for my internal medicine residency at IUSM. I was thrilled to stay at IUSM to pursue my hematology-oncology fellowship. My primary clinical and research interests are in malignant hematology, with a specific focus on lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and cellular therapies including CAR-T, bispecific antibodies (BsAb), and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). I am also deeply passionate about medical education and mentorship, and I aspire to a career as an academic-malignant hematologist where I can teach at all levels of medical training. Outside of medicine, I enjoy working out, cooking, reading novels, trying new restaurants, traveling, and watching a good movie or TV show.
