Bio

Dr. Tejada, a highly accomplished Neurointerventional Radiologist, obtained his M.D. from Valle University in Cali, Colombia, in 1995. After completing his Diagnostic Radiology Residency, he went on to successfully complete a Diagnostic Neuroradiology fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine and a Neurointerventional Radiology Fellowship at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine and University Hospitals and Clinics.

In 2004, Dr. Tejada joined the faculty at Indiana University School of Medicine, where he has since become a Professor of Clinical Radiology and Imaging Sciences. Since joining the faculty, Dr. Tejada has had a remarkable career, developing a highly successful program in Neurointerventional Radiology.

Over the past two decades, the program has grown exponentially, reflecting the evolving nature of this specialized field and the expanding indications for treating catastrophic diseases of the central nervous system, such as intracranial aneurysms, stroke and intraarterial chemotherapy for retinoblastoma.

Dr. Tejada is an active researcher, having published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is also a passionate educator, consistently presenting his work at national and international conferences.
