Bio
Dr. Alicia Deogracias is a licensed psychologist at Indiana University Health Charis Center for Eating Disorders and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. She began working at Charis in 2022 after graduating from Ball State University with her PhD in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in sport psychology. Dr. Deo is also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) and her primary areas of clinical focus include sport/performance psychology and eating disorders within the adolescent/young adult and adult populations. She has experience working with patients across the lifespan in a variety of settings, as well as athletes in a variety of sports and competition levels. At IU Health Charis Center, she coordinates the Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), assists with the adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and conducts outpatient individual therapy with adults. Dr. Deo utilizes an integrative therapy approach with an emphasis on Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering with her therapy dog.
