Bio

Dr. Wood earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis and her MS in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. She also holds a BS in Psychology, with minors in Neuroscience and Philosophy, from Texas A&M University. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Erie VA Medical Center and her postdoctoral fellowship in Health Psychology at the Cleveland Clinic, specifically at the Mellen Center for Multiple Sclerosis and on the Consultation-Liaison Psychology Service.
 
Dr. Wood’s clinical training spans diverse settings, including academic medical centers, Veterans Affairs hospitals, private practice, and family medicine clinics. She has specialized experience providing evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive processing therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. Her background includes health psychology with a focus on consultation-liaison psychology and complex and chronic medical conditions such as multiple sclerosis and lung transplant, as well as the treatment of anxiety, trauma, and mood disorders. She has also contributed to clinical research on compassion fatigue among caregivers and patient-reported outcomes in neurological illness.
 
Dr. Wood provides outpatient evaluations, psychological treatments, testing, consultation, and other services for a broad adult population. She also collaborates with clinic leadership to develop specialized services in health psychology and integrated care for individuals with chronic medical and psychiatric conditions.
