Dr. Allen is the Interim Director of the Riley NICU where she enjoys her role as an administrator and clinician educator. As the Director of Newborn Screening for Riley, she is involved in policy implementation of state-mandated newborn screening across IU Health Nurseries. Dr. Allen also serves as the Medical Director of Hope in Healing, Riley Pediatric Bereavement Program. In this role she is committed to developing comprehensive grief support for Riley families in need.
