Bio
Matthew Tobin, MD, PhD, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. He then completed his medical and graduate degrees at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the Medical Scientist Training Program. He is originally from the Chicagoland area and now lives in Indianapolis completing his neurological surgery training at Indiana University School of Medicine.He will be pursuing additional subspecialty training in vascular neurosurgery and will complete an enfolded endovascular neurosurgery fellowship during his residency. His research interests include neuroimmunology and regenerative and stem cell-based therapies for stroke and neurovascular disorders.
In his free time, Tobin is a self-proclaimed foodie and his interests include baking, snow skiing, movies and live theater, and spoiling his two nephews.
