Why IU: I loved that the program was large and well-established, with exposure to a wide variety of patient populations and many opportunities for research (with the Morris Green Physician Scientist program) and advocacy (through established programs and being in the state capitol). I enjoyed my virtual interview day, and felt like I connected with all of my faculty interviewers and residents. Everyone was so genuine and enjoyed each other’s company. I really felt like I would receive the support and mentorship I was looking for to achieve my academic and career goals in Med-Peds. Now that I'm here in Indianapolis, I couldn't be happier and feel very lucky to be surrounded by colleagues who are so welcoming, inspiring, and always happy to get together! These truly are my people and I couldn't imagine a more ideal place to train for the next 4 years. Plus, I'm only 3 hours from Chicago if I ever get homesick!
