Why IU:  I was drawn to IU for many reasons. I was impressed by the strong presence of Med-Peds at IU, offering a multi-layer support system. Everyday you get to work with Med-Peds co-residents and faculty who are intelligent, selfless, and passionate. From a program standpoint, I was drawn because of the vision of global health centering on sustainable, capacity building partnerships. Ultimately, as someone who couples matched, I feel IU has supported us remarkably along the way and Indianapolis has surprised us with its food, entertainment, and Midwest hospitality.
