Bio
Sam Fugate, MD, was born and raised in Edgewood, KY. He studied biology at Western Kentucky University prior to completing medical school at University of Kentucky.Having spent his whole life in Kentucky, he is very excited to have matched in Indiana and learn more about the state.
He discovered an interest in Ob/Gyn in college and is very excited to be training at IU. He is particularly interested in complex family planning and LGBTQ+ health.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Fugate spends a lot of time with his husband and dog. He loves to play volleyball.
