Bio

Why IU Triple Board:  The people at IU are everything to me! We have such a close-knit triple board community that we refer to ourselves as “family”. This includes all our residents (from interns to chiefs), our amazing PD & APD, as well as all the recent triple board grads & faculty members. In addition to our TB family, I have become so close with my pediatrics and psychiatry co-residents. I know the connections I have made at IU, both professionally and personally, will last for a long time.?  ?  Any involvement (tracks, leadership positions):  This year, I have been involved in the psychiatry education track. During our third year, we can opt to dedicate 1 half day a week to either an educational project or a research project. This has been a great opportunity to further develop my skills as a teacher and to learn more about quality improvement projects.?  ?  Highlights you’ve enjoyed thus far: Some of my favorite memories throughout residency so far have been our yearly retreats and attending AACAP. We all make a concerted effort to attend the AACAP conference together, and traveling to Seattle in 2024 and Chicago in 2025 with my co-residents was a blast!  ?  Future career plans: As a triple boarder, the world is really your oyster, and there are so many career paths to choose from! I am still considering multiple options for my career, however, some of my main interests currently include integrated primary care & psychiatry, newborn medicine, post-partum psychiatry and consult liaison psychiatry. I would ideally love to continue practicing both pediatrics and child psychiatry in my future career.
