Bio

Why IU Triple Board? I chose IU Triple Board before I ever started medical school - I knew that I wanted to work with children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, and IU offered opportunities on both the pediatrics and psychiatry sides to work specifically with these populations throughout my training!?  Any involvement (tracks, leadership positions): I am also very passionate about resident wellness and education. I'm currently part of our education track and clinical educator pathway, where we've identified a research gap regarding resident mental health - particularly the response to mental health crisis/acute mental health exacerbations. This is such an important thing, and I've received so much support in learning more about that research gap and developing a needs assessment to address this. Highlights you’ve enjoyed thus far: I absolutely love my autism psychiatry clinic - it is the highlight of my week. My continuity clinic in pediatrics is also a lot of fun, and I look forward to it on a weekly basis.?  Future career plans: Eventually, I'd like to be a program director and work in developmental pediatrics and psychiatry (specifically, NDD conditions). The opportunities I've been able to pursue here set me up for these goals in the best way possible!?
