Sarah Bassett, MD

Dr. Bassett is from Bloomington, Indiana. She enlisted in the Army after high school, and following discharge from active duty she completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Indiana University and her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. Her desire to pursue medicine began while she was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. Her interactions with women and children while she was on patrol helped her realize how fortunate we are in America to have access to education and healthcare. She hopes to assist people in underserved areas of the world with the knowledge and skills she have gained through her training. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and pups doing anything outdoors. She especially loves doing physical challenges with her gym community and completing home improvement projects.
