Why I chose Family Medicine: My love for family medicine stems from my goal of making healthcare more accessible to individuals of all types of socioeconomic backgrounds. This field allows me to combine my passion for practicing preventive health care with the ability to teach patients about steps they can take to maintain a healthier lifestyle. I am interested in practicing full-spectrum family medicine with a very special focus on maternal and obstetrics care. I can’t wait to have the unique ability to not only provide point-of-care healthcare services but also maintain long-term relationships with my patients and their families for many years to come.

Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program: As a native of Indiana, IU Health has always stood out to me as the leading hospital system in the state, renowned for its robust academic curriculum and personalized career pathways that empower residents to pursue their professional passions while offering abundant opportunities for growth. The IU Family Medicine Residency Program resonates with me due to its emphasis on procedural experience, extensive obstetrics exposure, and active community involvement. Moreover, Indianapolis, with its sizable population and diverse patient demographics, promises a wealth of clinical encounters and varied case complexities. I am enthusiastic about becoming part of this vibrant and inclusive community and eager to contribute to its collective well-being.

Personal interests and hobbies: I have a wide variety of interests, ranging from cooking and spending quality time with family members. Additionally, I enjoy watching basketball and soccer games, listening to podcasts, exercising, and traveling. I'm passionate about exploring new cultural destinations and have already visited over 36 countries. My ultimate goal is to travel to all 195 countries in the world one day.
