Sarah M. Laudon, MD
Resident Appointee
Bio
Sarah Laudon, MD, is a Post Pediatric Portal Program resident within the Department of Psychiatry.
During her pediatrics residency in Memphis, she developed a strong interest in the intersection of psychiatry and medicine—particularly in caring for children with complex medical and behavioral needs. Dr. Laudon's experiences in outpatient child psychiatry, research, inpatient psychiatric consults, palliative care, and delirium management, combined with the personal perspective of having a brother with a neurodevelopmental disability, made dual training in pediatrics and psychiatry a natural fit.
"The transition into the Portal Program felt seamless," Dr. Laudon said. "Our program director, Dr. Meudt, along with our incredibly supportive coordinators—Alicia, Jeanette, Mikah, and Jen—have been instrumental. I started my training with 2 months of adult psychiatry and was fortunate to work with incredible teams and attendings who were exceptionally supportive during the transition from pediatrics to adults."
