I'm originally from Bay City, Michigan and did my undergraduate degree in movement science at the University of Michigan. My research focus is currently on self-regulated learning, how students use online lectures and how instructors can use learning analytics. I'm also invested in flipped and blended classroom development. Outside of work/school I enjoy powerlifting, herping (aka finding reptiles and amphibians out in the woods) and hanging out with my two cats, Midna and Meatloaf.
