Focusing on developing patient-specific interventions, the investigators of the Trauma, Regeneration and Rehabilitation research team are working to treat patients sustaining musculoskeletal injuries, specifically injuries that result in acute and chronic musculoskeletal disease. These treatment goals include acute interventions, regenerative interventions for both bone and muscle, and eventually identifying the optimal means of rehabilitation for the patient to resume a normal lifestyle.
Who We Are
To pioneer patient-specific interventions for acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries — employing regenerative therapies for bone and muscle and optimized rehabilitation strategies — to help individuals resume healthy, active lives.
A future in which every individual with a musculoskeletal injury regains full function — where personalized technologies and targeted therapies for musculoskeletal trauma set the global standard for patient recovery and long-term quality of life.
In 2024, team members authored 100 total publications. Ten of these were in journals with an impact factor of 10 or above.
