With 24 academic departments, IU School of Medicine faculty and students are involved in every major area of medicine, including both basic science and clinical science. The school’s relentless emphasis on advancing medical research to improve patient care and clinical outcomes inspires strong internal collaboration as well as private-industry partnerships, generous funding and partnerships with other health science schools at Indiana University and other medical schools throughout the world.
