The Leadership in Academic Medicine Program (LAMP) is a year-long, cohort-based faculty development and orientation program for faculty in the second and third years of their appointments. The seminars introduce participants to the fundamentals of career planning, self-management and leadership. As a result of this program, faculty have tools that will enable them to accomplish their primary career goals and aspirations.

Any faculty member in the second or third year of their appointment may apply to be a member of a LAMP cohort.

LAMP PLUS+ is a second-year, optional add-on to LAMP designed for early-career faculty.

  1. Year One: Faculty participate in LAMP.
  2. Year Two: Faculty receive structured mentoring, complete a scholarly product for submission in a peer-reviewed forum and have the option to apply for up to $40,000 in project funding.

Those interested in participating in LAMP PLUS+ should declare their interest on the application they submit for LAMP (below).
