About the Diagnostic Genomics Laboratory

The Diagnostic Genomics Laboratory (DGL) was founded in 2022 under the direction of Marwan Tayeh, PhD, FACMG, and Francesco Vetrini, PhD, FACMG. The laboratory is a section of the Indiana University Genetic Testing Laboratories located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The mission of DGL is to provide competitive, NGS-based clinical testing services to IU School of Medicine, IU Health and the state of Indiana. Enabled by state-of-the-art next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology and advanced bioinformatic infrastructure, the laboratory currently offers clinical rapid genome sequencing. Locally, we provide high-quality genomic testing in support of the Undiagnosed Rare Disease Clinic.
