The Department of Neurological Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine offers a fellowship focused on neurovascular surgery. The two-year multidisciplinary neuroendovascular fellowship accepts trainees from neurosurgery, neurology and neuroradiology.
Fellows learn from department faculty, vascular neurosurgeons and endovascular neuroradiologists who treat patients suffering from aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and other cerebrovascular diseases. Training may be customized to include surgical, endovascular or a combined experience.
Application Process
Applicants for this neurosurgical fellowship must be residents or graduates of neurosurgical residency programs in the United States that are approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), or of neurosurgical residency programs in Canada that are approved by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The department is unable to accept applicants with an ECFMG Visa. Interested candidates should submit a CV and three letters of recommendation to the Department of Neurological Surgery director of education.
