The Neurosurgical Oncology/Skull Base Fellowship in the Department of Neurological Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine offers a well-rounded experience in managing complex brain tumors. This one-year fellowship opportunity offers participation in operative management of aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations and therefore encompasses a broad range of complex cranial procedures. The caseload includes approximately 350 operative cases each year—some with exposure to radiosurgical techniques using Novalis, Cyberknife and Gamma Knife.
Application Process
Applicants for this neurosurgical fellowship must be residents or graduates of neurosurgical residency programs in the United States that are approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), or of neurosurgical residency programs in Canada that are approved by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The department is unable to accept applicants with an ECFMG Visa. Interested candidates should submit a CV and letter of interest to the Department of Neurological Surgery Director of Education.
