By summer 2027, the IU School of Medicine Psychiatry Residency in Evansville will be accepting new residents, providing an infusion of new patient care in southwestern Indiana. This new program will join the existing Psychiatry Residency in Vincennes at Good Samaritan Hospital, which focuses on rural mental health. Using a unique synergistic approach with multiple community and hospital partners, IU School of Medicine resident trainees gain a comprehensive and holistic understanding of healthcare.
