Monthly meetings where the Trauma, Regeneration, and Rehabilitation research team present updates on their research focusing on developing patient-specific interventions.

The Metabolic Bone Disease research team, formally known as the MMAP team will meet every third Wednesday. Topics range from CKD mineral bone disorder (CKD-MBD), to clinical work on HRqCT, to aging and GLP-1 use. The group has been ongoing for a number of years focused on CKD-but welcomes newcomers! The format is one lab presents for 30-40 minutes and then open discussion about collaborations and techniques.

The ICMH is excited to host Vikram Ahuja, visiting professor at the Kelley School of Business and CEO of OsseoLabs, a medtech startup focused on AI-driven surgical planning and 3D-printed, patient-specific implants for orthopedic and craniomaxillofacial (CMF) applications, for a seminar this February. The Lifestyle Modification Team’s research focuses on exercise, nutritional, and behavioral modifications that impact musculoskeletal health, physical function, and mobility. The goals of this research is to better understand how musculoskeletal health and physical function affect the overall health of the population and how chronic diseases impact musculoskeletal health.
