Residency

Join one of the nation’s most sought-after radiology programs, where over 600 applicants compete for just 13 positions each year. Our renowned residency offers top-tier training in diagnostic radiology, with additional residencies in diagnostic imaging physics and interventional radiology, providing unparalleled opportunities to excel in medical imaging.

Fellowship

The department proudly hosts a large fellowship training program with 12 fellowships covering major radiological subspecialties. Fellows receive training at seven different IU Health hospitals.

Undergraduate Degrees

Part of IU School of Medicine’s Health Professions Program, the department offers four unique undergraduate degrees in radiography, nuclear medicine technology, diagnostic medical sonography, and medical imaging technology.

Medical Student Education

Imaging is a core component of clinical diagnosis. Medical students perform a two-week-long clerkship dedicated to learning the fundamentals of radiology, diversifying, and strengthening the foundation of their medical education.
