Emergency Medicine Residency Alumni Connection

The IU School of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine Residency program began in 1976 and has grown over the years. Now there are over 500 alumni practicing all over the United States. Over the last several years, graduates have obtained positions in a wide variety of careers. Approximately 65% of recent graduates have gone into community emergency medicine across diverse practice environments, and 35% have pursued fellowship or other advanced training or gone directly into academic medicine. This active network has stayed connected through the years and across locations.
