The Transplant Nephrology Fellowship program at IU School of Medicine is a one-year program accredited by the American Society of Transplantation. The IU Health transplant center is a high-volume center where faculty physicians performs approximately 275–290 kidney transplants a year, in addition to 30 pancreas transplants and 150 liver transplants. The center is also one the few in the country with intestinal transplants. There is a robust living donor transplant program in addition to the kidney paired exchange, a dedicated transplant infectious diseases team and extensive exposure to all aspects of kidney and pancreas transplantation.
