Minimum Requirements for U.S. Graduates
- ERAS® application with photo
- Letters of recommendation (three minimum)
- United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 1 score minimum: 230
- Number of pass attempts on all three USMLE exams: 1
- Medical student performance evaluation
- Medical student transcripts
- Personal statement
Minimum Application Requirements for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMG)
- ERAS® application with photo
- Letters of recommendation (three minimum; one must be from a practicing physician in the U.S.)
- United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 1 score minimum: 230
- Number of pass attempts on all three USMLE exams: 1
- Medical student performance evaluation
- Medical student transcripts
- Personal statement
- Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate acquired at least two months before the anticipated residency start date
- Visa sponsorship: J1 Visas only, no exceptions
- MG applications must be no more than two years removed from graduation of medical school
- S. clinical experience is not mandatory but encouraged
