Medical students interested in applying to the Vascular Surgery residency program at Indiana University School of Medicine must meet eligibility requirements and apply through the Electronic Residency Application Program (ERAS®) program.
The Vascular Surgery Residency program at IU School of Medicine will offer two interview dates for the 2026 NRMP® Match:

We offer an invitation to attend our educational conference and virtual social event the night before interviews at 4 p.m. EST via Teams.
Minimum Requirements for U.S. Graduates
- Completed ERAS® application with photo
- Three letters of recommendation, one of which must come from either a surgery program chair or surgery program director
- USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK scores submitted; we do not accept COMLEX scores
- Medical school transcript
- Must not be more than two years removed from medical school training
- Personal statement
Minimum Application Requirements for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMG)
- Completed ERAS® Application with photo
- Three letters of recommendation, one of which must come from either a surgery program chair or surgery program director
- USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK scores submitted
- Medical school transcript
- Personal statement
- Must not be more than two years removed from medical school training
- Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate acquired at least 60 days prior to start of anticipated residency start date
- We only sponsor J1 visas — no exceptions
